Will Madeleine McCann be found?

Unfortunately probably not. And the McCanns must be
aware that the most recent publicity may in fact put her life at risk, if she
is still alive. The situation is pretty hopeless in reality. But the continued
publicity has raised awareness of the phenomenon and it is important to keep
that awareness alive. If only for the sake of preventing potential future
abductions.
I always thought that the distinctive marking in one of Madeleine's eyes sealed her fate. Once the abductors realised that this would make her easily identifiable they would have ended her life. And this mark was widely reported in the media, so decent people everywhere would have known to look for it.
